Breakfast debate

The other morning as I nursed Katie in the living room I listened to this debate between Megan and Jacob about chewing with mouth open vs. closed . . .

Megan:  "Jacob, close your mouth when you chew."

Jacob:  "But Megan, the food tastes better when I open my mouth."

Megan:  "No, Jacob, it doesn't because when you open your mouth the air gets in and makes it so you can't taste your food as much."

It went on for a while along those lines and I thought it was pretty amusing listening to both of their reasoning.
