Portugal
We ended our Spring Break trip in Portugal. We had 2 nights (but really only one full day) in Sintra and one afternoon walking around Lisbon between church and our flight home.
Sintra
Sintra was colorful and beautiful. Jon and Jacob enjoyed a long run/hike on the first morning and saw the Castle of the Moors. Then we had a great time exploring Quinta da Regaleira.
Since we'd spent so much time exploring old towns and ruins on our trip, we decided to take the afternoon to do something different and rode the old tram to the coastal town of Praia das Macas. It was the perfect way to spend the afternoon playing on the beach, and one of the highlights of the trip since we just had time to relax together.
We didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to do, so we need to go back to see Pena Palace! We got a few glimpses of the colorful palace from far away, but I'd love to see it up close sometime.
Lisbon
Our last day was Sunday so we went to church in Lisbon then wandered around the city until we went to the airport. I am really starting to love Portugal. Abrigado!
