We painted our dining room tan and I love it! Small projects are making a big difference and we are settling in to our new home and neighborhood. We attended the Canterbury Road end-of-summer party and met some neighbors, then went to the Sherwood Forest ice-cream social a few days later and met a few more! We are really happy with our great neighborhood!
Jacob is still enjoying scouts and his new friends! And Jon is a Webelos leader.
Megan got a dwarf hamster and named it "Cuddles." She loves having a pet again!
We went to the walk-through at Orenda Elementary so Megan and Jacob could check out their new school! We got to meet Jacob's teacher, Mrs. Keller, and see both of their classrooms and desks. It should be a great year (but hard for me to let them go!)
I finally found us a new dog! It took a few days to finalize a name but we decided to call her Molly and we love her. She is a 10 month old Cockapoo.
Eric and Debbie and Hannah and Will came to visit for Labor Day weekend and we had a great time with them! We made homemade rockets, visited Lake George and The Sagamore where John Tanner lived, played and fished at Moreau Lake, made giant bubbles, kayaked up and down Lock 7 of the Erie Canal, and spent a day at Great Escapes Six Flags! So much fun, we love visitors! Megan also added to her fairy house with the early birthday gifts from Grandma Perkins!
I love your newly painted dining room and your backyard is huge! Can't wait to see it next summer!
