We made our extra family room off the kitchen into a cozy Christmas tree spot this year. Jon got the fireplace going and we have a nice rug and chair there; it's my favorite place to sit and read.
Participating in #LightTheWorld at our Ward Christmas Party! I loved seeing Megan stand holding her light with the young women then lighting other's lights with hers.
This sign was up at Jacob and Katie's school! I loved how it fight right in with the "Light the World" theme, without them even knowing it I'm sure!

Our annual gingerbread house-making tradition went extreme this year--we built our actual house! It was quite a process, masterminded by Jon and worked on by everyone, to one degree or another. We also got our first snow of the year and a neighborhood visit from Santa during the construction! The final product is pretty amazing--with furniture on the inside, clear windows lit up by tea lights, siding, bricks, and more!
Jon brought Katie for a special date to watch Disney Frozen on Ice!
Katie also got to see Santa at our ward primary Christmas party, and Jacob made and delivered Christmas cards to a nursing home with the cub scouts:
