We went to the Saratoga National Historical Park for their winter festival and enjoyed lots of Colonial-period activities including a wagon ride, watching some period-dressed soldiers fire muskets, writing with ink and quill, copper etching, tin pounding, stilts, dress-up, and sledding on the hill overlooking the site of the Battle of Saratoga! I LOVE living by so much history!
Jon is into all things homemade and Sunday pizza is becoming a Sunday afternoon tradition. Here is his latest pizza preparations--homemade cheese, sauce, and dough!
Katie still loves preschool fun, and her BEST friend Natalee! This morning Katie and I were snuggling in her bed for a minute and she said, "Mom, let's talk about sad people and what we can do to help them." She is such a sweetheart!
